ENERGY - The J. Goods Experience
ft Victoria Doutón, Diego Espinosa, Abram Racin, & Rob Montgomery
In October 2025, Diego Espinosa made his first trip to New Orleans from Colorado with J. Goods, a past resident, to live-record some tunes in a living room with local talent, and J. Goods' longtime friends. Along with "Energy", they recorded a sister song, "New Orleans".
The tracks later made their way to Tristan Gianola, a once New-Orleanian sound engineer now living in Maine, while J. Goods was adventuring in Guatemala. The music got made across borders as they communicated by phone calls and emails from the tops of volcanoes and "chicken buses" (if you know, you know).
This song, and all of The J. Goods Experience's songs, has it's own story. This is the shortest version... Colorado, Louisiana, Maine, Guatemala — all pulled into the orbit of one city that has a way of doing that. New Orleans has a vortex, and this song lives inside it.
Give it a listen and a follow!
